Museum of the World Ocean
Russia’s only museum devoted entirely to the ocean: the research vessel Vityaz, a walk-through submarine, a giant whale skeleton and aquariums.

The museum stretches along the Pregolya embankment. Its star exhibits float on the water: the legendary research ship Vityaz and submarine B-413.
Indoor halls cover ocean science, the Baltic and the history of navigation.
Perfect for a rainy day and a must with children.
Tips
- Plan half a day.
- The submarine is cramped — expect queues at peak times.
- Check opening hours on the official website before you go.
